He was born in Lauf (Bavaria) where he lives and works. He has been realizing artistic projects with the nature since 1972. Since the beginning the reason of his reserach is the recovery of the contact with nature's authenticity, the removal of the artificial dualism nature – culture: the research is focused on the ability to “carry out the nature in every sense”.

His works have been realized in Germany, Italy, Japan, Israel, Checkish Republic, India and Mexico.
