During the 2007, she was invited, together with the artist Hamish Fulton, for a site specific intervention near the Marrana Environmental Art, Monte Marcello, La Spezia. She took part in different collective exhibitions, in particular, during the last years: the Rome Quadrennial; the Sharjah Biennal in the United Arab Emirates; TVB, RaidProjects in Los Angeles; Innatura, X Photography International Biennal, Bricherasio Palace, Torino; Ratio, Contemporary Art Gallery, Monfalcone; Il racconto del filo Museum, MART, Rovereto. Since 2004 she worked for the Nuovi Committenti Programme, promoted by the Adriano Olivetti Foundation from Roma and Urban2, Mirafiori Nord, Torino, which finished in the 2008 with the final project Transatlantico in Green Space. Claudia Losi's work includes a kaleidoscope of projects that symbolizes the art in the sense of a “work in progress”, as a continuative process in the years, in delimited but elusive forms. The delicate quality of her works poetically expresses the richness and the complexity of the world, in searching for the extraordinary aspect hidden behind what seems to be the most usual objects, their processes of organic transformation, growth, changing. Her relation with science and the interest in the nature, that have always been fundamental in her works, allows her to focus the attention on the “walking” considered as an artistic practice and a perfect instrument to consider her emotional and analytical reflections about the landscape. In the 1998 Claudia Losi took part in a series of team projects with the intent to involve other persons called to embroider. Qui e non altrove. Qui (Here and not somewhere else. Here) - ArtePollino 2009
It is a project about the participatory and collective art for the communities of Pollino National Park. The artist asked about a hundred people to tell about a personal memory happened in the Lucania side of Pollino and to give her some images: drawings, photos or other things. With this material she realized drawings, then they were put on pieces of cloth and given to the manual skill of a group of ladys from the town of Latronico, they were asked to embroider them, adding little hand-sewed pieces at will, and to create pillow-structures to fix them upon. The collective return of this action occurred, in addition to the photographic documentation of the realization process, in a shared moment: a final party, where it was asked to the participants to “put together” the different embroidered pieces, which were stuffed in a unique form, a hill or rather a “cairn”, a stack of soft stones that marks the presence of a special place along a mountain path.
